I'm a feminist!

Hi, everyone! Today, I'm going to write a blog from the view of a feminist and show you some groups that act as a feminist.

These are the two: Feminist.com and  a movement called MeToo.

...

Hi, everyone! I'm acting as a feminist. I'm gonna show  you two activities that I'm engaged in.

First is Feminist.com. I work with Marianne Schnall, a founder and executive director of Feminist.com. As Internet was new at the time Feminist.com was founded, she and the members wanted many people to get information about human rights, women's issues, health, anti-violence resources, women's businesses, and all of the things that could make a world where both sex are allied, empowered and equal. This is why Feminist.com was made.

Recently, we spotted "the International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM (Female Genital Mutilation)" . Female genital mutilation (FGM) includes sexual abuse and is recognized as a violation of the human rights of girls and women. We Feminist.com joined the activity to raise awareness about those important issues. And, we colaborated with Donor Direct Action and created a fund to end FGM.

Another movement I'm acting now is called "Me Too movement". "MeToo" has a slogan: "You Are Not Alone".

This "Me Too" movement was founded in 2006. Its purpose is to secure people who suffered from sexual violence, especially young women of color from low wealth communities. We are trying to find a way of healing the survivors and to end sexual violence.  Our vision from the begging is to built a community that is managed by those who could make solutions for stopping sexual violence in their communities. Our goal in 2018 is to reconstruct and spread the global discussion around sexual violence to speak to the needs of the survivors.

I have a Twitter, Instagram, and facebook account and sharing information of me too movements. If you are the one who want to give a voice, please don't hesitate joining us.

Don't forget, You Are Not Alone.

  1. These were well-chosen sources and you "spoke" from the perspectives convincingly. I like the way you ended the posting by inviting like-minded people to join you on social media. Well done!
