Fake Feminism

Hello!

In Japan, it has been abnormal weather recently. The south part of Japan especially in Okayama prefecture and the prefecture around there has major damge and many people is suffering. I don't have any power to help them but hoping that it will recover and will able to get their ordinary daily life soon and enjoy this years' summer!

In todays' blog I want to tell that there are so many information on the internet nowadays which are some ture and some fake. We need to look at those information carefully and judge them. I'm going to talk about the news about Saudi Arabia agreed to let woman drive. This is a true news and has started this June but last year there were some informations which was not fully true.

On the news by The New York Times in 2017 it says "Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday that it would allow women to drive, ..." and as the title of the news says "Saudi Arabia Agrees to Let Women Drive". By reading the title and the article it seems that all women in Saudi Arabia is going to get the free right to drive in 2018. On 2018 June 24th, the women got the right to drive. But only 10 woman were allowed. Since it was banned for a long time, it was a surprising historical news and many people were happy but on the other hand, only 10 female was allowed so it is not completely free yet. The government said they will let more woman to drive but they have to pass more strict driving exam than man, so I think it is not fair. The information by The New York Times is not wrong but since it was published in 2017, the information was not clear enough.

We need to watch to the latest news to get the true information.

Also there are many people who says they are "feminist" and on the opposite side there are people who calls them "fake feminist". To say honestly, I don't know what is the clear definition to call "feminist". To aware readers, I was plannig to wirte a news or information which was spreading fake information but since I don't know what is the "true feminist" I changed my plan to write about information which gives us wrong impression.

Thanks to the development of the internet it has been a very convinient world now but at the same time we have to judge information by ourselves more carefully.
