What is Feminism?

Hi! Today I'm gonna answer the question, "What is feminism?"

Q. What is Feminism?

Feminism is defined as "the belief and aim that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men; the struggle to achieve this aim" by Oxford Learner's Dictionaries, or as "Belief in or advocacy of women's social, political, and economic rights, especially with regard to equality of the sexes. The movement organized around this belief." by The Free Dictionary.

The core similarities among the term for beliefs, ideas, movements and agendas are these:
  • Both men and women should have equal right and opportunities
  • women aren't treated equally or women are handicapped compared to men
  • the treatment is cultural that we are able to change it
  • feminism consists activism, individually and groups that are trying to make a change  the current culture
